i'm glad desu

>Halo
>Always try to take marines with me
>>334570936
>Giving Marines sniper rifles and brute plasma rifles and watching them try their best to tear shit up.
Then you hear a Mexican death scream behind you and you realize you can't save them all.
>>334570936
>Trying to keep Marines alive during a flood level
Good night, sweet prince
>>334571047
>>334570936
I did this in every game, I would do my absolute best to protect them, and push them when their AI made them stop walking. I did my best to save them, damnit.
RIP to all those barneys and scientists I tried to save. I could only take you guys so far. It always made me sad when I had to leave these guys behind.
>>334570936
>mfw chips banter
Godspeed you glorious Aussie battler
>>334571067
Why didn't the protag just get it fixed instead of scrapping it? Especially after what he went through to get it back along with leaving behind his garage full of exotic cars in Rockport.
I wish more games had NPC allies
They're always fun
>>334570495
THE ONLY GOOD BUG IS A DEAD BUG!!EDF! EDF!
>>334571335
exactly!
"how far can I get them?"
Titanfall had really good NPCs
They made the battlefield feel alive, and when they introduced game-modes that didn't have them you could really feel how empty the maps would be without them
>>334572758
>"Hostile Pilot on your six sir!"
Turned around and kicked that militia pilot who was trying to snap my neck
I made damn sure that grunt made it
>>334572734
I wish they made a game around that kinda thing. See how far you can get the non-essential npc's without killing them. It'd make a neat challenge.
>>334572758
>>334572929
Man the NPC's in that game were fucking magical. They had alot of neat behaviors and animations. I wish more games would do things like that to give them a little more life.
Also, best burn card.
>>334573214
>>334572758
Is the game worth playing now?
>>334571335
I'd like to think that every scientist and barney that you were able to take as far as they could possibly go were able to escape.
How else could Freeman have such a large reputation among the Resistance?
>>334573214
I always thought that card should have just been automatically active at all times
It was amazing
>>334572929
>standing next to grunt
>enemy pilot jumps in and snaps his neck
>have time to blow them away
Never forget those who gave their lives for a cause
>>334573214
Best thing about the grunts?
They move with pilots
My cousin and I tried to do a grunt vs grunt match and dependent on where their pilots where, they would be there
>>334573457
long dead
>>334573457
There are always people online is the best thing I can see. They have a rank system nowAlso you can change your robot's voice to japanese so it feels like you are going into a gundam
>>334573457
It's dead as fuck on PC, but I think people on console are still around.
The core gameplay is really good but there's a lack of anything to keep people around.
You can pick it up for like five bucks probably, or just wait to see if Titanfall 2 is good.
>>334573559
I loved getting into a point and then seeing my conscripted grunts show up in the building.
>>334573528
>be me
>Manage to survive IMC pilot training
>best friend since age 5, also serving the IMC, throws a suprise celebration for me
>fast forward a few months
>militia threw everything they had at us
>close fight but it cam apparent that we wouldnt win this one
>Higher ups call for an evac
>Evac point is on top ofa three story building roof
>friend pats me on the shoulder
>"It's alright, they'll send in another"
>I nod and make my way to the evac point
>Door closes and we make ready to jump
>I look at the flight officer
>"Where are the other evacuation ships?"
>He looks at me
>"What 'other' evacuation ships?"
>>334571440
Bullshit reasoning on my end, but maybe he ran out of cash while on the run after becoming 'Most Wanted'. Which is why he probably fled to Palmont City as a last resort.
>>334573769
>>334573734
>>334573727
damn, i'm kinda wanting a FPS game to tide me over till overwatch but i'd be playing it on PC. fuck me I guess.
>>334573875
gotta wait for titanfall 2 my friend
>>334573528
>Those grunts that drag their dying buddies away from the battlefield
Man that shit is sad as fuck to see.
>>334573941
They'll actually prop them up against a wall to make their last moments more comfortable
I like little details like that
. . .
still doesn't help me sleep better though
>>334573930
I suppose so. I guess i'll shop around for another FPS.Maybe the black ops 3 starter package, I dunno
>>334573875
>>334574224
I think you get access to the beta when you bought overwatch. Saw my roommate playing it literally last week.
>>334573875
Yeah it sucks.
Titanfall 2 is coming though, maybe this year. We'll see at E3
>>334573941
>>334574001
The grunts were just too good.
They did everything you'd think they would do, and even if they were fodder they did get kills.
I wish more games would do that. The AI doesn't even have to be that good, it just needs to be scripted enough to feel alive
>>334574224
lol
the new call of duties are trying SO HARD to copy titanfall
>>334574342
Nope, beta is random chance and the last stress test is over, the open beta lasts for 3 days in may before release.
sorry, burning Scout. I'm sorry I missed every single crossbow bolt.
>>334574382
I played that free weekend of BLOPS 3 and let me tell you, the movement and map design are not at all meant for jumping around all the time
But if you used an SMG and played it like Titanfall you would win constantly
>>334574730
>if you used an smg ********************** you would win constantly
Sounds like any CoD
>>334574809
Fair enough
I did enjoy shitting on everybody running around on the floor like idiots though
