I'm trying to figure out what kind of portable console I should get. Which one has better games? But in reality I'm just trying to play some front mission 3. I'm looking at The vita the new 3ds XL and the gpd XD. I'm trying to see which one is the better fit for me because I can only afford one and what ever fist full of games I can buy used for whatever console fits me the best.

Can't do PSP emulation, Dreamcast emulation on Android is a joke (the developer of Reicast has stopped updating the Android ver.) and you can't increase the internet resolution of PS1 without performance drops. I honestly wish I would have saved up the extra $50 and bought a Shield Tablet.

No, I'm not kidding man, I run the supposedly intensive psp games at like 4x and they run just fine, in fact I usually just have to change a setting or two to stop some graphic glitches but everything else is glittery and sparkles.

PSP emulation is OK, but in my experience most of the games suffer from hiccups and you need frameskip enabled if you don't want to get choppy audio in scenes with lots of particles/2D sprites.
I have the GPD Q9 P-something (the one with the actually decent joysticks) cause I hate clamshell design of XD. Been pretty good so far, playing a bunch of DS and PSP games. The only PSP game that slows down the device is Tekken 6, though with setting tweaks it runs at ~80% which is ok I guess. Haven't tried GoW cause I'm not interested in it.
