I got one of these for my PS4 off eBay for about $2 (auction). It works well and does what it needs to. I mostly use it for surfing the store or looking something up for a game (like the FFX mix list).

That was a literal keyboard. This is just a chatpad. They are different products.
The xbone has a smartglass app, so you can use your phone for text entry.

You can if it's a bluetooth device. I even used my old tablet-keyboard I used for school. Unless Sony blacklisted it for more money. I use an offbrand one from china. Does the same thing.

There are only third party chatpads for PS4 right now. There's an official chatpad for Xbox One and it's PC compatible.
