Holy SHIT Dark Souls 3 is a letdown. I literally just beat Yhorm while naked with a knife. The combat is SO SLOW compared to Bloodborne.
This must be why PC and Xbone users are having a harder time beating it. PS4 gamers have already mastered these games by beating the best one, which is Bloodborne.

BB was the easiest Souls game by far. The hardest boss in the game was BSB, who wasn't really that hard, and every boss just got easier and easier after that, never mind """"""bosses"""""" like memolash. The DLC fixed this somewhat but was the very definition of too little too late. Everything else about the game was fantastic but the challenge just wasn't there.

Demon's is my favorite, but I have a feeling you might not like it. The bosses all have some kind of weakness or gimmick, so their difficulty is quite variable and many can be very easy. Except the final boss which is basically a skill-only fight. I personally loved that progression. I also loved in Demon's Souls the focus on the five distinct areas. Instead of very quickly and drastically changing from environment to environment in a seamless world, they basically had five consistent atmospheres which actually enlarged the feeling of the world, and strengthened its overall atmosphere, for me.
...Ah, what a wonderful experience... But I feel like they kind of lost the real idea behind Demon's Souls soon after and all the games that came after it kind of miss its effect.

Das 3 8s popular because it was heavily advertised to the masses and also eased up a bit for the casuals. It's definitely not as hard as dark souls 1 or 2. It's about on par with Bloodborne.
It is however a very polished game, so even if it's easier, I wouldn't object to it being better than DS1. I have yet to beat it yet so I'll with old that judgement.

I love Bloodborne too but Dark Souls 3 might just be my favorite in the series.
The variety in equipment and playstyles is something I sorely missed, not to mention the setting of Knights and Kings is always a bit more grandeur than the blood and beasts of BB.

I'll admit, the fact that I spent money on a PS4 entices me to say DS3 is worse than bloodborne.
There's definitely a bias. I'm looking for justification on a lot of lost money I worked for and spent, but in all seriousness, Dark Souls 3 is just a better game. I still love bloodborne, but I'm not closed minded enough to pretend it wouldn't be great if everyone could experience it.

I have both and I like Dark Souls 3 much better. DS3 has better design and lots of weapon and armor variety. Also, the replay value is much higher with all the types of builds you could make.

Not OP, but I tried to fight Yhorm normally and got him to about 1/5 because I am a retard and didn't know about / look for the Storm Ruler.
I thought the "Try Weapon" messages were about hitting his arms/weapon when he does that smash attack (you do way more damage than hitting his legs)
It took like 10-15 minutes and I died and thought I had skipped a bunch or something.
