Single player, yeah. Multiplayer, hell no. MP40 or you lose: the match. Amazing job on those vehicle maps tho. Fighting tanks was fun and i still remember going 45-0 just sniping on that twin train map

WaW's singleplayer was terrible. the european theater was good but the japanese levels were low quality.
Both WaW and Blops had incredibility shitty AI. I enjoyed playing them, but they are far from the best. Any of the early games are better presented and designed in terms of single player campaign.

i already agreed that the european theater was great. but it always seemed to me that the pacific theater levels were either done by a B team or maybe they had to rush it in order to release it on time. there's a huge disparity in quality between the two theaters in that game.

STG44 was great but rof was lacking and the M1 carbine was the best weapon in the game with that zero recoil

WaW and BO1 are essentially tied for best COD game. BO2 fucked up in a lot of ways but that also a fuckton of cool shit (pick 10 system, choices in a fucking COD game). BO3 I'm too mixed on, the campaign is really the only thing I put a number of hours into and that was a complete mess.
On the other hand, Infinity Ward needs to just die already.

Campaign was a variety of fun levels.
Shit ton of guns, attachments and perks to play around with in multiplayer
Veteran mode wasn't just enemies throwing grenades and damaging you as soon as you moved out of cover
Spec ops for additional fun featuring the CoD4 AC130 mission
Just over indulge on all that shit. It's CoD it was never perfect might as well go all out.
Never understood zombies. It comes across as a really really cheap horde mode to me yet people buy Treyarch CoD for it.
It was a great little end of game surprise but why it got so popular is just beyond me.

MW2 was the first COD game where Veteran difficulty was a joke.
The grenade spam in WaW was overkill but MW2 was just way, WAY too easy. And both MW3 and Ghosts were even easier than that.

The ai in that game is for grunts, basically free kills to get titan faster. Played a bit with origin gametime tm and had some fun. Wouldn't buy it on PC though, not many players.
