Wii was a Port of the Gamecube Version, HD is a Remaster.
Resident Evil on GC is a Remake, HD is a Remaster.
Port is taking a version of a game to another similar spec console with as close to identical gameplay as possible.
Remaster is taking a version of a game to another greater spec console, trying to improve on performance or features not possible on the previous console.
Remake is a from scratch devolved version using the previous version as a template.

as i understand it, in a remake you create an older game from scratch, with a new engine, graphics, music, models, etc.
and a remaster is close to a port but in these they fix glitches, add content, improve resolution and FPS may have better textures, etc.
