Its a great game so yea that'd be a compelling reason to do so. PC is a much more enjoyable experience all around so if you can afford it, I strongly recommend it.

I'd hold out for the next generation of cards to be revealed. Rumors have it coming Q3 or 4. Further speculations set their performance to be ridiculously higher than current cards due to the generational leap. If this is the case current card prices will see a dip.
Look up nvidia Pascal for more info. I'm unsure what the current name for AMD's project is called sadly.
