ITT: Overrated games
I am only trying the new one.
The PS2 version has terrible graphics.
From what I saw it seemed way too simple and boring. Tearaway was gorgeous but the demo was terrible.

I thought it was a relatively great game. Too short tho imo. The gravity and combat mechanics had very good longevity so I was disappointed when it ended.

OP hates the game, will be deemed "overrated" because they gather more from people who enjoy the game rather than forming his own opinion as something standalone and concrete.
"I saw these guys one time saying they loved it on /v/, that must mean its overrated!" Despite the game remaining relatively niche.

I might get Gravity Rush Remasteres but the physical copy in Canada is >$80 so I need to be sure.
Is the combat varied enough to stay fresh/enjoyable? Or is it a series of one-button spam combos?
And do the environments stink of handheld-port? For example, Cyber Sleuth environments were very plain, simplistic, boxy, and without much going on in the four, very restrictive walls that defined an area. It can either be uninteractive but open and free so I can explore, or it can be locked down and straight-forwardly designed but with a lot of interactivity available in the individual sets.
Not going digital for the cheap, I lose my PSN info always due to never using it but for one-off instances months/years between each other, certainly ensuring at one point I'll lose my access to the game.
Gravity Rush is barely considered a 9/10 game by its fans. Its pretty much agreed that its somewhere around 7 and 8/10.

It's mostly fly into the air and press square on enemies which does the most damage and auto tracks enemies.

It's really ugly. It's mostly a red / green background and shitty textures. There are a few "dungeons" that look somewhat cool and are fun to explore but most of the game is in a town which looks really empty. It's also only like 10 hours long, took me 14 hours to get the plat with all the side content.

Isn't the PS4 region free anyway, but do you us a region different to the US? I assumed it was the same as DVD/BD, region 1/A.
Good question though. I guess I'd like to know too, although I'd never consider buying it for $80.
