Hi /v/, here lies everything I know about Nintendo's next console.
>No Devs have the final design of the NX console or controller so photo leaks are VERY unlikely.
>A new Super Mario game will be shown at E3 and a new Zelda game simply known among employees as The Legend of Zelda, will be fully showcased this Month. This is an NX port of the Wii U version.
>Both of these games come Bundled with the NX but there is also a Basic version. Both come with 1TB open HDD storage.
>The console comes with two controllers so multiplayer is available to as many people at launch, one has a screen and one does not, they both come with the bundle but the basic edition includes only the screened.
>Other games for late Winter 2016 are a new Metroid and Sonic game. These are both set to be announced this Summer and are still under heavy development. There are also other first party Nintendo games coming Q1, I don't want to spoil them all but two of them are direct sequels, one under very high demand by fans, the other not so much but not disappointing.
>They are looking at a Q4 release for the NX some time around late November.
>The console has a huge 3rd party support line up for Q1 of 2017 as well as the other First Party sequel, that being new Animal Crossing in VERY early development and there are a few launch releases from other Big publishers.
>Nintendo still working on making it compatible with the all Wii U disks. Older console games will return as Virtual console titles.
>An adapter to read all 3DS(new), and DS(i) cartridges will be available to purchase separately later after the launch.
>The full name of the console is 'Nintendo Cross' in Japan.
>Nintendo will start re-releasing Classic NES and SNES titles onto smartphones starting Q3 with the SMB, F-Zero and TLOZ.
>Nintendo will release a Video Unveiling the console April 26th with a notice to the public 24hrs before the video. They want companies to have trailers at the ready.
Be patient and watch Nintendo.
