For a long time my favorite moment was the Opera from FFVI/Kefka becoming a mad god.
But now I don't know. The last game I really enjoyed and got invested in was FFX.
If I can count Lost Odyssey, then my favorite moment is Sed reuniting with his Mom, Seth. It's equal parts funny, heartwarming and utterly depressing.
