We're only eighth gen right now. Ninth gen will be shit like the PS5 and Xbox Two. I can't blame you for getting mixed up, seventh gen dragged on for fucking ever compared to the other console generations. It's hard to believe that the PS2 came out only 6 years before Sonic 06, and the Gamecube only 5 years before. Fucking seventh generation, lasting almost a decade...

I can still remember being hyped as fuck for this game. I'd go to the official site almost daily looking at all the cool screenshots, videos, etc. I was so fucking excited.

To this day I still tout Sonic 06 as the prime example of why video games shouldn't have long, bloated stories.
