Yeah, that's pretty much what I meant. Even though there was a lot of moments where it was down in the dumps it still had nice ones like the two I mentioned, Prez managed to at least eke out a solid life for him and his family after all his mistakes, Lester was able to retire with a wife if I remember right, Hamsterdam's guy managed to lead a good life after retirement, and carver got to go up the ranks.
It was a good show though, and I loved when they brought back previous seasons into the later ones.

Hatch is a Shifter.
He was a Human that found a naturally occurring tare in time in a cave. I think he was the first ever Shifter and has completely mastered being both in and out of time simultaneously with the power to control either via use of a self described 'Hatch', Hence the name.
Becoming a shifter is a very destructive process, you pretty much go insane and can't control anything until you find balance with it. Which takes a lot of time.
He was the guy taring apart the monarch soldiers late game.
