It's fun but they need to tone some characters down. Even after the nerfs Galilea and Ambra are still super strong. For a tank and support they both tend to top the charts each game respectively.

Your ult maxes out your corruption which gives you an aoe lifesteal, and then makes you take reduced damage AND improved regen. The lifesteal also stacks with the damage amplification from desecrate.

BB isn't for everyone, as much as 2K wishes it was, but if you can get past some of the silly shit all over the place, it can be pretty fun. And the characters are largely chaff, but they have their moments.

Game seems to go like:

All 3 scenarios result in a stomping. Really not having fun with this. It might be the type of game that could be fun exclusively playing with pre-made groups, but doesn't seem so great if you like to jump on and play a round or two solo.

The ranking system is different from the leveling sytem. Everyone starts at the same rank, regardless of what level you are because its matchmaking.
It sucks, but honestly it makes sense. In terms of ELO the system doesn't know if you're better than them or not because it puts everyone at the same rank at the beginning.

This game is insanely fun, and is exactly the kind of MOBA I've always wanted to play. It's fast, it's stylish, and the characters move and feel nice. All that said, I feel like charging 60$ is an enormous mistake, and I can't see this doing well.

You stall until Level 5 and proceed to nuke everyone.
Get upgrade paths that increase damage and reduce cooldown only (get the path that lets you summon two pillars instead of DoT pillar), and get loadouts that decrease CDR and increase skill damage.
Remember that Nulify reduces Chaos Pillar's cdr by 12 seconds so Chaos Pillar x2, Nulify (the one that pushes you in the direction you're facing) and then Chaos Pillar x2 again. If they're somehow not dead, use your hitscan Ultimate.

It does a lot if you use Oscar because he has built in shield penetration on one of his upgrades and it also helps a bit with Marquis because of his high damage in general. So basically only use it for characters with high base damage or rapid firing characters.

I understand it's a moba, but I find it extremely hard to kill anyone 1vs1 before they retreat using a ranged attack character. I guess that's the intent. Like, when people are far away you just shoot them with your TMP, and flashbang minion waves or enemies who get up in yo hommies grill. If you get jumped just dash away.
You could also wait for the kill, flashbang, dash in, melee, then double jump your way out.

The issue with him is that when it comes to a full on team fight, he's going to be near useless because almost all of his damage comes from harass, and if the enemy team has a healer then it's pointless. If you build your composition around harass and hiding CC with his flashbang (Kelvin and Galilea work really well with it), he can be really strong.
He's just very situational, in a game where not many characters seem to be. He definitely has the potential to be a very good character, but only in coordinated teams.

That sounds more of a support role than anything. I play him and do good with him and I want to like him. But other characters can do what he does so much better witg more utility I can secure kills and harass enemies tenfold better with Benedict than Caldarius. Not to mention, Benedict can play the objective extremely well and clear minion waves easily. I just don't see the use of Caldarius.
