you have a main team that is with you for the bulk of the game, it's not just Tifa. A character doesn't have to be with you 100% of the time to qualify as a "main team character" - Barret is with you a ton, Red XIII, Vincent, Cid, etc. You can customize your party how you want most of the time, specially when the game world opens up.

What fascinates me is that we are gonna get context into the characters from the outset, instead of afterwards like 7 had with CC and LO.
Brotherhood will have us see the relationships of the 4 friends from a different perspective than just playing through it. We know Regis sends Noctis away and they hear these reports about what is going on in Insomnia, so we get that part in Brotherhood, then we see Kingsglaive, from Regis/Luna/Nyx's eyes and see what goes down.
So it adds layers of context that gets us pumped because we'll have seen the anime and movie. When Noctis mentions something about the attack, something in our minds will click from seeing the movie. It enhances the experience without retcons or rewrites.

No my argument was that Sephiroth doesn't exist as a "main party member" because he's only playable for 3 fucken minutes. My complaint about this game is it lacks interesting characters TO PLAY AS.
