How many cute girls have died in video games because you refused to get good?
None because Valkyria Chronicles is the easiest 'strategy' game I've ever played
Beat it first time blind, only ever losing the main character who come back
>tfw had 8 girls and 1 dog die to the SAME boss, they were screaming, calling for me, could hear their bones breaking as they were being eaten by the boss.

>those names
Did you end up beating the boss, anon? Did you at least take the God of Chaos down with your final girl's dying breath?

My 1st run only had 1 dying.
At the very end at that, the cutie engineer.
After the last girl, all that was left is to go myself, die, and watch the credits.

Death is just another part of life. Not even cute girls live forever.

but I am good.
He could've saved het if he just got gud.
Am not to be of seeink women in Zone.
I was getting frustrated with Endgame of Fire Emblem Conquest on Hard. Having to re-do the previous chapter for another attempt at the final boss was wearing my patience thin. I eventually decided to Ironman it rather than git gud like I properly should have.
I lost Sophie, Soleil, and Velouria.
Soleil in particular made me feel so awful, considering her supports with her father were all about them being terrified to lose the other. I fucked up so bad. There was little joy in that victory.

There's no shame in casual mode. Just pretend you're playing final fantasy tactics.

In another place, in another time, someone got good and gave her a happy ending. A husband, a daughter. A life.

A bloody, joyless victory is more appealing to me than an effortless one. I might have had a less frustrating time if I went over to casual, but it would have been so simple and low-risk it wouldn't have even been fun.
And this way, I actually had an emotional response to the ending to replace how little fucks I gave about the actual plot.
