It's certainly flawed, but it's too enjoyable still to be compared to knack. Also, the 40 dollar price tag softens the problems with the game a lot for me.
I haven't kept up with this game a lot, but I have seen some gameplay. Is this just a remake of the first game? Because I mean it looks exactly like it but with PS4 graphics.
