DX12 games use DX11/10/9/8/7 and older features.
There are things in the API of DX12 that the 750ti can NOT run, because it does not support DX12.
Instead they will have a DX11 feature that is a round about less efficient code to take care of the job.
Sometimes it doesn't even have the feature at all when it's a graphical one. Certain types of lighting, fog, or shading fall into this category where the feature is just disabled and you get a flat texture.
