Logarius on the other hand... took me over 60 tries. He was the only was in the game that forced me to farm blood vials. Ludvig took me maybe 5 tries.
The key to why Bloodborne is easy is hidden in one place: the speed of the blood vial animation. That's literally it. The entire difficulty of the game is destroyed by one animation being a bit quick.

Yes, they are. They're easy to pull off a lot of the time, and the distance you can do them at is usually pretty safe. You can bait attacks that you're comfortable with parrying very easily, too. Obviously for average enemies it's no big deal, but parrying a boss is a real boring way to fight it.

As a long time dark souls player, I started playing bloodborne about 3 months ago, and it's genuinely surprising me to hear that anyone had trouble with vicar amelia.
She's the queen of "hit me in my ass and I will die" bosses
Bloodstarved beast's first two phases can be very easily dodged because of bloodborne's very lenient i-frames, and then just hit in on the wind down, for the third phase, just keep dodging around it, one of it's attacks will always go towards a certain side in it's combo chain, I can't remember which one, but it gives you a ton of time to wail on it, also make sure to get out of the poison mist.
Orphan of Kos and Ludwig were really good bosses though, the DLC kind of saved the game a lot for me, although on my second and third playthroughs it was kind of obvious how boring and easy a lot of the non-dlc content is

It's not, the official guide says he has a +10 chikage and +10 repeating pistol. Plus he's got absolutely ridiculous health, can heal, uses the old hunters bone, AND throws numbing mists. Worst NPC fight in the game by far in terms of difficulty. I've only beaten him legit twice (I cheese him on most of my playthroughs just to get his rune), once on NG and once on NG+. On NG+ with 50 vit all of his attacks do 30-50% of your HP per hit.

Really, the fight can be won with nothing but blood vials, a +3 weapon, and lots of antidote. The Beast's attacks are fast and powerful, but they have huge blind spots and once you know them you can avoid about 90% of the damage he deals out. Even the antidote can be left out if you're okay with the fight taking a bit longer.
