Which map? Original map, you need to use the harp on butterflies. WW map, there's a few things that need specific item cards and MQ map has you use the recorder on random objects (use those compasses or a guide)
I got the original on launch and freaking loved it, played through all the DLC and would have gotten every medal if not for the damned giant cucco mode. Now I'm loving this too, it's awesome how every new character and old DLC characters are integrated perfectly into the maps. Since the DLC for this will be sold in bundles worldwide, I sure hope that they integrate the new characters into their maps.

I just don't understand the reasoning that went into fighting against Zant. With all characters either half or all of their moves will reveal their weak point, but Zant is the only one who makes you actually sit around and block his entire attack to dizzy him. I've ran over time limit so many times because of it, especially coupled with how he often takes less damage than other characters.

It was a matter of just straight up not being able to hit 1500 or whatever the KO requirement was for those maps, and it was higher than 1200. I was just surprised that the fairy magic is that fucking strong.
The only real issue I find myself having in terms of gameplay are the escort messenger missions where you basically need to clear a path with the first character, and keep the other two following the messenger for heart refills.

It looks fine, especially for a 3DS game, but my brother loaded up the Wii U version after seeing my play Legends and the graphical difference makes me regret that the Forbidden Fortress and Temple maps won't be on the Wii U. I would argue that the gameplay is better on the 3DS, though, just for the sake of warp points and character switching.

You can't grind clothes, they're unique to stages. You can, however, grind food, but you have to wait for it to respawn, like item cards.

A lot of people think the game should've given you Guts and Spring for free, or at least done a basic tutorial after the prologue to show you the shop and how useful the shit in there is, and I can see their point. On the other hand, after playing other Platinum games, not to mention the W101 demo, I knew how useful those moves would be and made them a priority to get.
In a way, not buying them is a punishment for not understanding the game or taking advantage of what it gives to you, which is something important you need through the entire game.

I found the Linkl missions just aimless fun. Its clear she is meant to be a side character with no major impact on the original story. Hyrule Warriors in general was meant to be just an abstract, separate storyline to the main series and I loved it for what it was.

For me, I bought Xenoblade X because of its special edition, and PXZ2 because I had a feeling that it'd be pretty rare eventually, so that way I had a copy of it for when I beat the first one.
I really should play more Xenoblade 1, though. I'm pretty far in the game and I don't want to have to restart from the beginning because I forgot what was going on again.
