The Punisher. If you're familiar with the comics you know exactly what's coming. Excellent game probably the best comic book game. It was released at the same time the movie of that time came out, but it's directly a tie in to the comics and has cameos by Nick Fury, Iron Man, and some others.
Lots and lots of blood and gore. You get to execute murderers, rapists, junkies, and all kinds of scum. It's great.

Bioware just doesn't get subtlety. It really bothers the fuck out of me, especially given how petty a lot of the Dark Side options were. I'm supposed to be a Dark Lord of the Sith in the making, yet here I am robbing poor dirt farmers for a meagre amount of cash. That's not villainy, that's petty fucking thuggery. I want to manipulate people to do my bidding. When someone annoys me, I want to punish them in smart and terrible ways, not just shank them. Shanking people is the Light Side's game.
Mass Effect was basically off-brand Star Wars/Trek. There's some good stuff, but you get the same crap. Didn't become annoying until ME2, though. When your game starts making a point of showing your morality in your looks, it's gone too far.
One game that did this really well was Deus Ex. Quite often the stereotypical "good" choices would have unforeseen consequences. And you didn't get a "ding!" in your morality meter. Instead, you found out about the consequences a lot later.

It's just hard to properly explain it. It's got something to do with the almost unnatural curve of her mouth when she smiles, the weird shape of her nose, and how close her mouth is to her chin. At that point, even if your nation doesn't have the death penalty, it's not about revenge but rather keeping the populace safe. After a certain point Batman, who has the power to stop Joker, becomes just as responsible as the Joker for all the lives lost. Batman is routinely allowing the Joker to continue his mass murder and acts of terrorism. He's not doing a good thing, or even a neutral thing, by allowing the Joker to live.

More to the point, I'm certain some comics explain why Joker is never sentenced to death, probably with a jab at liberals who are against the death penalty, while Batman encompasses a warped version of the same philosophy. Even if Joker did get a death sentence he'd be broken out anyway by other villains or through his own means. The cops never kill Joker because assuming they're in a position to engage Joker, they pretty much always get their asses kicked by Joker's hired thugs or other supervillains, and probably all the redtape involved in shooting a tied up, unconscious, or otherwise detained person after Batman takes care of it.
