I'm paranoid about these things so after I initiate a conversation I always face away from any NPCs. I've noticed that when using mouse and keyboard that sometimes clicking a prompt away will also cause me to attack which is really shit design.

They do get agressive fairly easily. I was running around firelink and I fell on the hunters head (the one who gives you the cracked orbs) and it did single digit damage. He got angry at me for that. You can absolve your sins at the statue of velka in a sewer by undead settlement for a steep price. Every level you have tacks on 1000 souls to the amount you need to pay

If you mean the stats then I agree, I wasn't sure how I was going to build my character at first and put too much into magic
If you mean the outfit then I just thought the gold arm guards went well with the fallen knights Black/Gold scheme and looked cool with the Caestus, the sword looks nice sheathed on the back like that and is good for crowd control, and the pants just sort of match the colour scheme without looking too metallic

He'll pop up every now and then as the game progresses and depending on your actions. He's a lot more active than previous Crestfallen dudes. He actually DOES shit, it's kinda neat. Feels like an actual person rather than the suicidal dude that you awkwardly talk to at the hub all the time.

Now that they changed up the way damage mitigation from armor works, and poise is basically shit again, is there even any point in using anything but medium armor and a straight sword to attack fast as shit? My greatsword+6 only deals 150 more than my Baldr Straight Sword(whatever it's called in this game) but the straight sword attacks twice as fast and weighs almost nothing, not to mention you get knocked out of your swings from a cough on you with black iron set on.
