i think the main problem with the hubs was that the sidequests were just not very good, compared to the actual levels. except for that one where you talk to the supersoldier in the hengsha sewers. for the most part though they were boring.

Deus ex is really boring at the beginning. I remember I gave up the game on my toaster about 3 times when it came to the police station; wasn't having any fun with the plot. One day I decided to power through it and it's actually a lot of fun and has an interesting plot.Fuck saving that pilot bitch with out killing though
