Because Squenix's track record is pretty bad and there's the near-guarantee of this being another nostalgia cash-in, albeit a nice-looking one.
It's just hard for me to get excited about this when the whole conceit is "Hey, remember THIS!?", on top of SE's general shittery. I'm not going to imply that all of /v/ feels the same way, but it's probably not an uncommon sentiment. Everyone's been burned by SE so many times that it's just hard to care.
If you liked ff3 on DS then this shit will be gold to you. If you want it to be ff6-15 look somewhere else
I just hope best girl makes an appearance.
