It's just you can't join in on boss fights when summoned and you can attack the host while summoned.
Any invaders manage to fight off a 4v1? Fucking morons were so cocksure that they actually all followed me to the cathedral giant.
Finished off one of the boyblues that was still alive and chased the host. Host probably had the camera facing backwards to see if I was close because he ran right into another giant.
I'm actually really enjoying these 1v3 invasions though, it actually makes me work for my reward, seeing as how I can generally dominate most 1v1 fights with the 2h katana moveset..

For Farron wolf I think it's better to be between 20 to 35 with a +3 weapon at most, +2 will give you an invasion for sure.
As for getting summoned for Abyss Watcher, just get a +3 weapon and put it near where the dickwraiths walk, right on that archway. I got summoned 4 times there.
Also note that the weapon matchmaking takes into account your highest upgraded weapon, so if you already got a weapon past +3 it's going to be tough to find people

I summoned my bro there yesterday and we got invaded by a purple who realized he lost. He just ran over the bridge and hit it halfway over to kamikaze, I saw it and bailed back to safety but my bro was too far to turn back so he just kept sprinting, did a hit on the guy and then jumped and landed on the ledge under and barely survived while the purple died from fall damage. It uses both soul level and weapon level. Weapon level essentially just adds to soul level (but I'm not sure if it is 1 for 1 or some modifier), so you can be invading people who only have +3's if you have a +10 as long as their Soul Level is high enough. That's just an extreme example though, I doubt that'd ever happen.
