Why are you getting so mad Anon? There are plenty of differences, beyond just weapon arts. For example, most str weapons will poise break other players, meaning you can get another attack in before they are free to roll away. Something no dex weapon I know of does. More over, there are many UGS and ug-like swords that give the player booku range and render retreat a simpy non viable option for your enemy in pvp. Lastly, and try to follow me on this. this is exactly how it was in DeS and Das1, your movesets and hitboxes were always more important than the numbers attached to your weapon.

Right now it's the great machete. Not Yhrom's memechete, but the one you get from those giant dudes in Undead Settlement. Shit's insane if you infuse it with heavy. Unfortunately it's pretty hard to use in PvP since all the attacks are vertical and literally all the opponent needs to do is sidestep to avoid you.

Shortsword is arguably better than the longsword. It deals marginally less damage and the reach is only a hair less, but it has 10% more critical damage and the lower stamina usage will let you squeeze out an extra swing or roll

can't think of any swords that scream faith, that's mostly in the spear category now. just take a good sword that has high base and low scaling in dex/str and call it good.

The GS is past the Catarina Knight elevator, you have to jump off halfway up and go through the side area and jump off a roof onto a nearby tower, it is near the chloranthy ring
Also don't drink the beer that Onionbro gives you, if you give it to the crows on firelink roof you can get Solaire's chest armor

I've been digging the big axe tool you get from that big dude the first time you encounter him, at the part before the ballista and after your first mad phantom encounter.
Using it with a shield is pretty OP. I really wanted a greatsword but I like the feel of this 'axe'.

Several bosses can be parried, it's just requires a bit of practice.
I know for a fact that Iudex Gundyr can be parried for example.
