The other one just happened today, I was an idiot that kept reflexively tapping F5 to quicksave when it was bound to screenshotting. Now I have a bunch of random DOOM64 screenshots and just one save at level 2.
This happened to be with The Hobbit ps2 game when I was a kid. Man was I upset, it was hardest game I'd ever played through and I was so close then BAM. Corruption.

Too many people seem to savescum with STALKER, not doing it makes battles feel so much more dangerous.
I've done my last few plays of the game without saving at all, didn't finish any of them, but they're a more fun than usual. Previously I decided to only save inside 100 Rads and it was a journey.
