A password to surpass Maniac Mansion FC.
Japan always finds a way.
>>333916981
So glad that most NES localizations had battery backup.
>>333917068
Actually, Maniac Mansion for the Famicom is an entirely different game from the NES version.
You read that right. A PC game had TWO separate ports to the SAME console.
>password is "password"
What are these passwords you're all on about?
Like the way you save your progress on prehistoric consoles?
>>333917174
Hope it was better than the English version we got.

This is actually the worst.

You wanna know what's behind that door? You don't wanna know what's behind that door.

Huh, they managed to make it even worse/slower than the NES version.
At least the music isn't loud and grating like our version?
>>333917948
Reminds me of that one flash game I played way back in the day.
>"The password is 9993"
>Wow, that was easy
>Go to keypad
>Enter 999
>3 key is missing.
>Realize how stupid I was to think it would be that easy.
>>333918271
This version came out two years earlier, probably because Jaleco just got the license for the console versions. The music does sound more "Japanese", though, which is one thing I like.
