never played chain of memories. you can attack, aoe attack, or use a spell that comes up but it takes part of your skill meter (can hold up to 9 bars)

100%ing some of the later levels basically requires at least two 6 ranks it seems. Your damage is just so low and some of the enemies have a bar and a half of health.

Not really. You have a deck, but it's turn based. Each turn you use all your cards and choose whether to use each one to attack a single enemy, all enemies, or use it's special attack which consumes part of a meter.
