Am I the only person who likes the humanoid type bosses? I fucking hate fighting stuff like Gaping Dragon or Seath. I never feel like I can takle them in a proper straight up fight. You always end up hanging back and working out what bullshit AoE attack they'll do so you can quickly run in and just smack them anywhere you can. They're always the least fun battles.

I think humanoid bosses are usually the best bosses in this series
I thought this game did an okay job at balances the boss variety. The main problem is so many of the bosses are easy or have stupid gimmicks. IE the boss in OPs image (High Lord Wolnir) is one of the best designed bosses. Too bad you just have to slam on his arms a few times to kill him. Wasted boss fight.

Because we already fight humanoids the whole majority of the game, gotta take a break from them and face the big monstrosities every once in a while. Bosses fit in this situation.
