Oh man, she is a fucking cunt. Summon the 2 NPC's to help you, and try to get the big knight to aggro on one of the NPC's and Elana to aggro on the other and wail on her from behind, while dodging that AoE attack.
Not a very solid strategy, it took me a dozen tries to beat her, but that's the best I've got. Good luck on that fucking nigger dragon you have to fight next. Sunken Kings bosses kicked my ass more than any other in the entire game, including the Fume Knight

You should also have the Scottish sounding guy with the big sword that helps you at various times during the main quest. His sign is near the back of the bottom of the pit (the bottom of the huge room you traverse before facing her)
