Depends on what you're looking for in a game.
Well designed and balanced, punishing but fair? DotA 2's your game.
Want some casual fun with friends occasionally, but not something you really want to pour thousands of hours into? LoL.
Want to have a well-designed and pretty difficult experience in a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, with a pretty good community? HoN.
Want the LoL experience, but from a different angle with some fun and interesting twists and far more fun and relevant modes? Smite.
Want to be a hipster? Original DotA/DtoA Allstars.
All those other games too hard, and you need the true casual, just hop in a for a fun game now and then experience? HotS.
Personally, I think you should probably be playing either DotA 2 if you want a challenge and Smite if you want fun. Smite is actually pretty well made, desu, and it's far more affordable with more viable modes that the devs actually take the time to balance all the characters around, unlike in LoL, where the devs shoehorn each hero into 1 or 2 roles on just the one map, all other maps be damned. Unlike LoL or even HoN, the rpicing model while jot free, is very good, with a 1-time, fairly low payment unlocking the entire game and all characters they will ever release, ever. It;s the second best payment model of the current mobas out there.
If Dawngate were still alive, that would probably take my fun recommendation, but RIP Dawngate, sooo...

I like how people always say HotS is casual. A player vs player game is only as easy/casual as the other players make it. If you say HotS is easy/casual then you should be able to beat HotS pro players. If you cant, your arguement is invalid.

That's not how it fucking works. Casuality is defined by how much attention and skill it takes to reach and play at that high level. Even though it's always against other players, if the game demands less of you at that level and is easier to reach the skill cap it's more casual.

Someone calling a game casual doesn't mean they're saying anyone should be able to be the best player in the world, that's statistically impossible and shows you're pretty far in denial about your game being simplistic if you have to move the goalposts THAT fucking far to defend it. Believe it or not, there are states in between "hardcore as fuck" and "so fucking casual any drooling retard can be the best player in the world at it"
If I had to go pro in one assfaggot, it would be HotS because it's the one with the simplest mechanics and least going on so reaching the top would take less time and energy. Compared to the rest of its genre, it's a very casual game.
