Why am I listing a bunch of awesome crowdfunded games? Oh, it's a list of games I personally backed on Kickstarter because I know to do my research and I haven't been burned once.
If you have played a single one of the games listed above, you have benefited from crowdfunding. I'd much rather live in a world with Kickstarter than one without. I already sift through the shit to find AAA gems, why not do the same for indie games?

Kickstarter is only as good as the games people decide to back. If people were smarter with their money, Kickstarted games wouldn't have such a bad reputation. In short, Kickstarter is a tool that can be used for both good and evil.

I backed Shantae and it's looking pretty good. I'm also looking forward to Yooka Laylee and I'm cautiously optimistic for Bloodstained.
I hope Yooka-Laylee and Bloodstained turn out great, because the Hyper Light Drifter was a huge scam.
