also crystal weapons are great since you can enchant them and deal massive damage, only problem with them is that you can't repair them

Either way Normal outright is better then anything
If you're a spell user then you can buff your weapon and still get the better physical damage, likewise with Divine.
Boss weapons are cool indeed, but I was mostly just referring to the normal paths (being all but Unique/Dragon/Boss)

Occult is similar to Divine with stronger faith scaling, but even less Str and Dex scaling and it can't permakill skellies in theCatcombs or Tomb of Giants.You can also roll back the occult club you find inAnor Londofor an easy +5 divine weapon for said areas.

Fire is worse than chaos but only if you don't have 99 humanity which is the only reason it's used
Crystal is complete garbage
Raw is pointless because you'll put elements on a weapon with bad scaling
IIRC Occult is slightly worse than Divine in terms of scaling but there are a couple enemies it does bonus damage to.
I'm honestly not sure why people never used the enchanted or magic upgrades. Maybe because people with that much INT would rather spam spells.

Occult does extra damage to Ornstein, Gwyn, Black/Silver Knights, the big sentinels in anor londo and gwyndolin.
Funny how they actually hand you an Occult club right before OnS, as if they're telling you something. Though the club doesnt do extra dmg vs Smough, but hes easier to deal with.
