What are games that makes you start from the bottom and make you become richer and richer as the story progresses? I love the feeling of starting a game feeling like a hobo, and becoming a multimillionaire at the end of the story.
San andreas and saints row 2 are two games that do this, do you guys have more?

GTA 4
Mount&Blade: Warband has you start out as a broke nigga and your aim is ruling the whole world. You can rake in mad dosh from businness enterprises and/or raiding.
The Guild2: has you start out with just a hut and 10000 cash which is not much, and you have to build a dinasty over the years. Game also lets you splurge on fancy clothes, jewelery, and expensive food/drink which makes your inner jew smile.
Even though the game has no currency, UnReal World makes you feel like a millionaire when you survive long enough
The Godfather games, though shitty, have this feature.

the amount of money the player has does not correlate with the amount of money Niko has in the story. money is basically an in-game reward for doing shit. canonically Roman is wasting all their money gambling online, and Niko is practically never paid half the time, or paid shit.
for fucks sakes, if you pick the "Revenge" ending (non canon by the way) you still get the $250,000 as if you picked the deal. there's no reason you should receive any money though. GTA V fixed this by only paying you for literally like two missions, not including the heists. but this probably won't happen again because normies cried that they weren't getting paid for missions, in missions where the protagonists wasn't even doing a job for someone, or the asshole that gave them a job fucked them over and refused to pay them.

III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS are all fine to play now, but don't be surprised if you find it mildly disappointing due to the outdated gameplay mechanics. Even then, I wasn't really disappointed when replaying the original trilogy last winter. I suppose the nostalgia may have helped, but I had a good time.
