I was lucky and managed to save all my boxes from my childhood gaming because I had a father who was a antique/art collector who understood mundane things can jump in value with time. He threw them into plastic storage cases and dug them out for me years later.
My friends weren't so fortunate, not only did their parents throw their boxes/manuals away they also gave their game collections away to little kids when they were nearing graduation. That collection had some valuable shit like E.V.O. in it.
