I've been playing the Japanese version on PC for about a week and a half so far. It's been alright. I honestly haven't run into any problems at all after the initial boot.
the first time I loaded it up I couldn't get full screen to work in anything other than 800x600. I got it to run properly in 1080 after booting it with windows XP compatibility in windowed mode, then closing and trying it again - and it worked fine since then. Obviously my experiences aren't necessarily the experiences everyones going to have, but I remain optimistic about it. I've only got about 19 hours logged though.
