Isaac, no fucking question
Get out of here with that gay cybernetic shit

Trained soldier > engineer with powertools
>>
Didn't Isaac blow up like, a whole planet and a moon AND an enormous space ship so large it can be legally classified as a city?

Soldier a shit by comparison.
>>
>>333809307
That was all just a giant clusterfuck of mistakes
The soldier took down a near omnipotent AI and a hivemind of flesh
>>
>>333808891
I think Isaac went through more shit, personally.

It kind of depends on which Isaac. DS1 Isaac, maybe not, DS2 Isaac for sure.

thinly veiled dead space thread?

Isaac doomed plenty of trained soldiers.

Thinly veiled shocklike thread
Dead Space is probably the most popular of the genre on /v/

Any news on System Shock 3 or the HD remasters?

Any other time I would have thought that line was edgy but it just sounds good in Dead Space
Isaac just sounds so fucking sick of this shit

Aside from the 3 announcement and the Shock 1 remaster trailer?

nah

I just really want it to be good
Please please don't ruin it like every other reboot has been ruined

I still want that guy who's been remaking 1 solo for years and is almost done to get his game out

no, night dive is doing their own official remake and the modder has been doing his thing, think it's called Citadel

Clarke, easily.

These threads are dumb anyway. They make as much sense as pic related

Jupiter, easily
The hair dryers wouldn't do anything but add a bunch of mass to it, and not even fusion-capable mass
Hairdryerfags please go
>>
>>333811453
Actually, assuming that the hair dryers are some kind of cosmic object (as in they're all together in space), they have almost as much mass as Jupiter. Not quite, but pretty close.
>>
>>333811372
Jupiter is 1.898 × 10^27 kg while 1 septillion dryers on the heavier end wind up being 1.72365e+24 kg.

Jupiter wins hands down unless the dryers are all plugged in, then they might be able to blow the gas giant away or disperse it
>>
>>333811372
Clarke would beat both the hair dryers and Jupiter
>>
>>333811697
It's 1000 septillion. I calculated 1000 septillion hair dryers as weighing 1.814x10^27, which is pretty close to Jupiter. We obviously used different numbers for hair dryer mass, too.
>>
>>333808891
The Soldier.
He's cyber-ed to the gills with superhuman abilities by the end of the game, he's got an arsenal of weapons that were actually made to be weapons whereas Clarke's got mainly tools save for the Pulse Rifle.

That being said, if Isaac managed to nail the Soldier with a stasis field he'd be fucked, and the disparity isn't that great, so it'd be a good fight either way. I'd still put my money on Mr. Nah, though.

Let's talk about how DS3 wasn't that bad
>>
>>333811920
oh shit, i'm tired as shit and just saw septillion, I was just using 3.8 lbs as a standard hair dryer weight because i couldn't find that brand's weight specs in the original pic
>>
>>333812075
It was questionably designed and managed to convey almost none of the feel of the first two
The only time that was remotely fun was the derelict graveyard at the beginning
Everything on the planet was just terrible

The customizable weapons were both boring and really easy to break with ridiculous combinations

HUMAN
ENEMIES

The new necromorphs weren't interesting to look at or fight

All in all it was very disappointing
>>
>>333812229
The coop mechanics were a lot of fun, at least for me.

>>333812361
Heh, sucks to not have friends.

Also, as the other poster mentioned, DS2 "technically" has human enemies. I just wish it had been used in a manner similar to DS2 instead of turning into a regular thing.
>>
>>333811453

I dunno man

1000 septillion is a lot of hair dryers

Unless they were gargantuan hair dryers, Jupiter would still win. It'd be traumatic either way though and I'd love to learn what would happen to Jupiter if you through almost it's entire mass in plastic and metal at it.

>>333815229
ALRIGHT
The second body that is not jupiter is a smaller body that I tried to approximate the density of a ball of hair dryers.
It is practically identical in mass to Jupiter.
The webm is what happens.

After this, Jupiter flies off in the opposite direction and begins to heat up and glow, perhaps it's becoming a star?
In any case, I think jupiter is the clear winner here
>>
>>333815694
>Begins to heat up and glow
Is it getting eaten by the sun?
>>
>>333815773
There is no sun in the system of this experiment
>>
>>333815694
Think about the force needed to make Jupiter spin like that
Goddamn that's a lot of force
>>
>>333810376
That's why it sounds good though, it's not delivered to be edgy, it's delivered because by that point both the player and Isaac are like "fuuuuuck stop stringing me along."
>>
>>333808891
Goggles? No. Hacker? Probably.

But both Goggles and Clarke have a hardon for killing the undead so they'd probably just help each other out.
>>
>>333808891
interesting quandry, much of either one´s prowess comes from their familiarity and access to their respective universe´s technology.

without any technology, uncertain.

with the best technology, available to them in their games, probably clarke, because the rigs are actually pretty damn robust.

with the most advanced technology shown in their games, I´d say SS2 protag, reality altering tech and all that.

No, the circle are not trained soldiers.
They are fanatics with basic training and basically no experience. and behave very unsoldierlike.
