The main storyline is pretty well done. Vehicle combat works well once you get a few upgrades. Foot combat is just an easier Bamham.
Most of the side content is busywork. You can waste a lot of time cleaning out crap copypasta camps for one or two bits of scraps for those last few upgrades.

Atmosphere was more comfy than any other avalance game.
car physics were weird but they allowed for crazy stunts.
I liked the fact that the cars stats seemed to actually matter more than any other game besides the dedicated racing games. Weight actually made the car noticeably heavier even if it was just a slight increase. going from full weight to none is astonishing.
story was alright, it basically wrote itself. kinda tied in with the movie.
the worst parts were obviously the repetitiveness of the gameplay. farcry/arkham knight level outpost securing and baddy killing. combat was nothing to write home about but it was fine.
overall i'd say it's fun.
the single best part of the game was the same as Arkham Knight: the convoys (APC lieutenants in AK).
driving on the highways systematically taking out the convoy and killing the last car felt like the end of the Road Warrior every time i did it. it was especially cool when a lightning storm started while i was doing one and two cars got shocked and exploded. it felt like the actual scene from Fury Road. pretty sweet. you can't replay them though, unfortunately.

Got this on Humble Bundle and gotta say I'm pleasantly surprised. I bought it having heard the repetitiveness and can see what some reviewers mean by that. But hey, I'm having a good time. Beautifully optimized, nice graphics and fluid gameplay without any hiccups yet. Played about 10 hours or so in two days and likely will put in another 20-30 before I put it down. 8.5 / 10 for me

Some of the smoothest animations I've ever fucking seen. The magnum opus customization was pretty cool.
It's just kind of tough to do an open world game that's just one huge barren wasteland and keep it interesting.
