I honestly like the idea of it.
Zelda with Kingdom Hearts gameplay has the potential to be really fun. Having a ton of different swords and shields to use would be neat.
The fast-paced fighting would be interesting, leveling up would be fun, having Link gain more magic would be cool too. The only problem is having proper dungeons that make use of items better but even then you could use them for prolonging combos. Like knocking an enemy away and quickly bringing them back with the hookshot.
Hell you could even do very basic like have a party of Mario, Link and someone else and have all three playable as they adventure through Nintendo's universe. Each having a completely different fighting style.

The law/neutral/chaos system is in effect, but the slider depends on the composition of your party, eg. Using Zelda/Marth/Mario would give you points towards Law while Ganondorf/Bowser/Mewtwo would be Chaos etc
