FC1 is still my favorite in the series - shame the multiplayer died pretty quickly. I have all of them except the console versions and FC4.

Poor choice of setting, only looks good in the distance and feels boring up close. Villain would be too hard to write so they only put him in the game for a few minutes to show in trailers so people would be confident we were dealing with a strong villain character again. Everything felt the same, all added gameplay mechanics could easily have been FC3 dlc, and some of the little changes like hopping around vehicles and shooting from them could have been an FC3 patch. PC port was worse and the game felt samey and did not change enough.
Oh, and it lacked a good radio soundtrack. They clearly put more effort into the radio but forgot to put in gems that literally made the game like the ukulele song.

The problem here was that players thought Brody was a college dudebro faggot. So, in 4, they decided to give AJ less personality to make him more of a self insert.
