It's a lot more to do with the proportions and face, which despite being similar in a broad sense are actually quite different.
The entire aesthetic is based on nendoroid, yeah. I've heard the only reason GUMI's able to be in Mirai is a weird licensing loophole related to that, not sure if true.

No you could but digitally and then play it with an EU account. Everything I've been saying is only possible on ps4 easily, because switching accounts on a vita consists of factory resetting it.

it's not terribly difficult to get around on vita, but it is terribly annoying if you have a lot of US/EU games. You have to reformat and set region to access content purchased from different accounts, ideally keeping separate memory cards for region.
I'd get it for PS4 anyway if possible. It's confirmed to be 1080p 60fps, and hopefully they'll roll out another set of arcade styled controllers for people like me.

These all came from a single ebay lot so I couldn't really choose which came with it. It's definitely in a list of games I will buy as soon as I find it under a certain price point. At least I have all those other games to hold me off until that point in time.

I'm playing shit now I thought only top tier koreans could even attempt, it's just practice. Make sure you're only only playing actual Taiko mode maps to begin with on the easiest difficulty. Up to a certain point every song is combinations of the same patterns. Once you can do every pattern the game is easy. Then you get to 6* and things get fucked up

I fucking love Project Mirai DX. The eShop demo is what got me into Mikuand Nendoroids.
I also enjoy Project Diva F 2nd, but I keep getting my ass kicked because I got used to PM's tap mode so much.

Never was much into rhythm games, never bought one, but yesterday I got taken out to a game center and tried their Museca machines. It was surprisingly fun. And I was pretty surprised that they had Touhou doujin music on it. Spent a long time trying to do this:
