once you craft a potion or bomb, you don't need to craft them again, instead when you meditate you use up an alcoholic drink (such as Dwarven Spirit or Alcohest) and it refills all your potions and bombs

Also. The location for SOME of the recipes is semi random. So look for treasure everywhere.
