Honestly though, the vast majority of good games for the old Xbox were or are also on PC. Steel Battalion is a very notable exception and a game I desperately wanted but could not afford to buy.

Yeah it sucks.
I loved the 360 version, and bought the PC version, but the controls sucked and the settings barely gave me any options.
Sadly I quit it and never touched it again.

I love horror games, but I did not love Alan Wake. It had some cool moments, but the gameplay was boring and didn't have awesome story/investigation elements to make up for it like Deadly Premonition did.

Before 360 came out, my friend showed me Gears of War artwork and shit.
I was pretty hyped, and bought a 360 for me and my friend for his birthday.
I remember that night we beat the campaign.
We got a group of us together, Me, my friend, another friend, and that friend's girlfriend.
I fucked up my username with the ending letters, and all my friends used those last two letters.
The four of us played all 3 of Gears together online.
We did pick up a temp 5th player throughout the years.
By the time Judgment came out, we had all gotten our own lives and moved on.
Only my friend and I still play Gears.
Now I don't see my friend since he's in another state, and I'm the only one anticipating Gears 4.
I hate getting old.
I was just a teenager and in highschool when Gears 1 came out.
Now I'm almost 30.
Sorry for the blogpost, I was just venting.

We had so much fun, and it was such a great experience.. I miss gaming by myself these days.
I met random good friends on steam, but some were snakes and I had to delete and block.
I wish I could go back in time to Gears 1, where I would sleep in the basement in my makeshift room.
I'd fall asleep to the main menu music, and have fucking Windows Media Player playing music on repeat, loop, and random.

I was barely in the game reading the first memory, and had a tear reading about the little girl dying.
I kept playing and it was emotional.
I just hated getting the kids on my team, and being me, I had to max cross skills with everyone.
I ended up quitting, because I couldn't stand them.
Honestly I didn't like anyone but Kaim.
The girl sucked, the pussy boi was too gay, the children were annoying.
Maybe I just liked the game for the immortal Kaim.
Cheating a little bit, but the arcade version of Bully?
