The original Tomb Raiders are perfect. If you remove the grid system the whole game goes to shit, just look at the 7th gen trilogy, especially Anniversary. Tomb Raider 2 is a fantastic game as it is, it doesn't need tweaking or improving aside from perhaps some newer textures.
