bought myself a 4k tv for my computer /v/. Give me some games that I can play.

>inb4 videocards not ready for 4k. I'm aware I have 2 gtx 770's and witcher 3 on medium runs at about 45fps. Need to wait for newest graphics cards to get better. For now just downsample to 1080p.
>inb4 30hz refresh rate. You can get 120hz refresh rate at 1080 and with correct configuration you can force to 60hz in 4k

I still don't understand this 4k craze.
Consoles still can't do 1080p properly, and on PC I seriously see no real benefit from going above it either. Just stresses your computer more than necessarily, bombing your framerates and graphics at the same time.

I get that. but there were some things that I really enjoyed. Most games I play don't really utilize two gtx 770's going SLI. games like CS:GO and WoW (I am boycotting WoW though due to nostalrius getting their shit pushed in.) really don't utilize anywhere close to the performance of those video cards. Plus browsing the internet and remoting into computers is fantastic because of all the real estate space. Take a look at my 4k screenshot for 4chan for example.

How do you even read text at this reso?

Even on 1080p I have to zoom in most sites to 125%.
>>
>>333756713
nobody had stated a single video game as a suggestion and I don't want the thread to die.

Monitors are almost always better than TVs

I here there are some huge korean ones with great response times.

The text is fine and clear. though small it's not hard to read the text at all when you're right in front of it.

>Even on 1080p I have to zoom in most sites to 125%

are you sure you aren't too far away from the monitor?

There's no game out there that doesn't have scaling issues or runs too awful to be enjoyable at 4K. I suggest you stick to movies - there's very little decent 4K compatible web content either.

Bad eyes then?

I'm like 5 feet from my TV and I have no issues reading it at 4k even at default.

and yay an actual suggestion thanks anon.

Just stick to slightly older games or good ports of older games like Dragon's Dogma.

The biggest problem with running games in 4k is the massive spike in vram usage, shit like anti-aliasing are 4 times more demanding in 4k so you might want to turn them off or leave them at something low like 2x.
>>
>>333763581
good thing that 4k often solves the problem of anti-aliasing. But you're right. I am fully aware of this. Nvidia and AMD are racing in the 4k race to making a fantastic card to run modern games at 4k in the next couple years.
