I had that issue as early as chapter 16. Birthright just bored me with how almost all of the chapters are route with a few kill commanders thrown in. Really didn't help that those route chapters throw reinforcements at you just to drag things out.

It's the first fire emblem I've dropped out of boredom. Awakening I came close, but it wasn't as bad as this.
The game has no soul at all. Like Awakening, it feels like it's pretending to be an FE game. It's a cheap imitation going through the motions of what Fire Emblem games are supposed to do and it shows.

I've beaten Conquest, currently on my 3rd playthrough. I can't help but notice how much more fun I had during chapters 8-15 than the later half of the game.

The Endgame becomes much more tolerable if:
a)Buy enough tonics for everyone and use them on the preparation screen.
b)Make sure one staff user hits the asshole with the hex Rod
c)Corrin has maxed strength on whatever class you have him and has one more damage booster skill than Dragon Fang
d)He is paired up with a full Support rank Pair slave (like say Gunter, Joker or any non main team member)
Even without the Pass or Warp Staff shenanigans, you can survive the first wave of enemies and Takumi dies easily

BR is tedious and the balance is fucked, every map is either too hard so you go to grind and sweep it, or it's too easy.
REV is a clusterfuck of gameplay. It has all the downsides of both Conquest and BR, with few of the benefits, and feels like a paid ending with more shipping.
Conquest is good, but the story's a mess. It peaks at ch. 10, and then tapers off kind of and collapses at the penultimate chapter. Overall, probably the best and most self-contained.
I'm replaying Thracia 776 and having more fun.

Shara is a much more sympathetic and loveable version of Tharja. and yes even though i married Tharja in Awakening for a good magic Morgan i still think she's not really a "good" person. she is, however, better than Rhajat. her support is still less creepy.
Rhajat's support with MU is all about the stalking, while Tharja at least has that part where she temporally changes her personality and the part where she takes care of a sick MU. Shara has the personality change (plus she actually hangs out with other people) and the fortune-telling thing.

Seemed like an attempt to make less people want to marry her, The Silas thing is just some a past thing and only matters if you think that no one can ever get over their first crush. Most people still hate on her for her yandere traits, even though she was always a lite yandere.

I just beat Chapter 10 Lunatic Conquest on my second try, Camilla died because she killed a fighter with a 5% chance crit then got hit by a guy with 43% hit chance. I don't know how to feel about this.

Well again, the Silas crush was something in the past, so there's no reason to assume that it means he is and will always be here one true love. And really there's a big difference between having a crush on someone and being in love with them, though you wouldn't know that being here.
But again, it does kinda seem like Treehouse didn't like her much and made changes primarily to push her away from Corrin, especially compared to the JP version. I don't think she was really pushed though, mainly because she's a very unconventional love interest. Aqua and Felicia would be the most heavily pushed ones.

Might sound odd but I think Foleo's "lifestyle" was better handled in the JP version even from that perspective. In the original he was very aware of what people might think and somewhat insecure about it, and more of the 'lesson' about acceptance was from others, most notably with Leon. In NoA he just comes across as a little asshole about it.

Hard mode endgame requires strong attackers with durability and being creative with your support units. Mine were Xander, Keaton, and corrin paired up with their A/S-supports.
Be sure to give your units beast slayers and hammers because generals and Paladins are the units that give you the most trouble. Give Leo a lightning tomb so he can double generals. Give your healers freeze staves. The freeze staves are vital
Basically the strategy is to rush your brawlers down the middle while your supports take care of the side units in that first area. The units at the sides keep respawning so you pretty much have to out run them.
Turn 3, you should position your units so the generals and ninjas move up to attack them.
Turn 4, You kill as many units as you can. Hit the rest with freeze staves.
Turn 5, finish off enemies and keep moving as far down as you can and hit the paired up Paladins that you don't kill with freeze staves.
Turn 6 and onwards, finish off enemies and kill Takumi.
Lunatic mode: either 2 turn it or do this strategy again, but it's much more of a bitch

Main thing that Oboro has going for her is that she doesn't have any overwhelming gimmicks but has enough that she isn't a non-personality. Closest things she has to gimmicks are her face and to a lesser extent her dead parents/love of fashion. Otherwise she has pretty varied supports, though I don't necessarily think they are all great.
Otherwise she's very non-offensive. Compare to other characters like most of the kids. Effie has very blatant changes that just destroyed her for many. Nyx constantly talks about her curse. And Camilla is the opposite of 'safe' and gets a lot of shit for pretty much everything. Meanwhile many of the Hoshido girls are just there, like Kagero who spends 90% of the time just being stoic.
It helps that Oboro has the second-best child mods in the game and is one of the few units in Hoshido that can take a hit.
