Yea sadly but it doesn't feel as bad as the tanks. The groupings feel more balanced aside from spitfires raping everything. You can get to tier 3 pretty fast but anything else is a drag

I'm sure a lot of people here will disagree but I find Planetside 2 to be an incredibly fun F2P game. Sure, it's hard to get into. Most of the playerbase is just veterans now who stomp anyone new, but go in with some friendsor make someand you'll get a hang of it.

Tanks just get worse and worse every patch and once you reach like br 4+ on tanks just give it because a stray shot makes you cry.
I feel like they make planes more polished but every patch I notice less and less lions sadly.

I've done both. Tanks are fun however seem pretty unbalanced almost all the games is everyone vs the nazis or nazis+soviets and the british/Americans seem to have the best tanks. They have a vehicle test mode where you drive around testing shots/ammo on different vehicles.

So whats new in this version? I always go back to this game after while because the game is fun but the genre is fucking boring and shit. ARPG's always end with it being dead and boring after you get past a certain point because it turns into just pressing one button and running into mobs until they melt or you die and you restart to do it all over.
It's like an FPS where you just keep going down corridors. At least try to shake it up like when FPS's try to throw in mechs/vehicles and other gimmicky shit.

I spent a month theorycrafting a build that could kill Uber Atziri with shit gear and planning what I would do in Perandus. Carrying out that plan, being one of the first people to kill Uber Atziri, and making an insane amount of currency from Uber in the first two weeks of the league was incredibly satisfying.
any shitter can get good gear and follow a fotm build and shit on Uber, but the real challenge is coming up with ways to do endgame content on a very low budget and/or with a lower level character
