I've reinstalled that game twice. The gameplay gets repetitive as hell, trash mobs suck the fun out of it, and bosses aren't even that good. It's fucking
boring, and this is coming from a guy who mostly plays JRPGs.
Every time I pick this up, I tell myself that THIS time I'll see it through, but I never do.
I can't even diagnose the problem.
I don't give games many 2nd chances. I try it. Like it or dislike and move on.
Why bother doing otherwise?

Resonance of Fate for me as well. I just don't get how the battle system works. For all the tutorials I've gone through I'm still left confused and fucking up button presses.
Suikoden III is another. Got it a launch, got lost in some area with enemies far to strong for Geddoe's crew and said fuck it. Came back a few times later and the slowness of the game speed kept putting me off.

i had picked it back up recently but got to another rts part, and stopped. i just wanna finish the story since its pretty short it seems if i rush it.

Yeah I found it boring too. Not difficult, which fans of the series fall back on, just dull. Barely any sense of progress, the story is dripfed to you, and battles are overly long and repetitive.
The 3 main characters had some nice camaraderie between them during those brief scenes where we actually see them interact with each other though. I'm glad that they show up in the Project x Zone games.

I'm fucking ages into this right now but I've yet to get any hint of the main story....
Plus the leveling up is bullshit, standard grenades should be infinite if you need to use the grenade box to level up
