Never.
The digital distribution model and the easy availability of information online about products before you purchase them means that mobile games will never experience a complete crash.
Rather than crash, I just want mobile games to evolve as a game platform.
The technical capability of these modern devices is constantly touted but everyone just makes shitty F2P infinite runner games with microtransaction booster packs.
I will buy a $20 phone game. I have no problem with that but it has to be made to the standard of something akin to a GBA or PSP game. Something with real depth and competent development.
But no one sees that as a better option than the current consumer-hostile model because money is trumping creativity.

This makes me feel so depressed. I work as a History teacher and most kids in my school don't care about console gaming or PC gaming. They play Clash of Clans and other popular mobile games all the time.
