Finally finished this game, what the fuck was that ending about?Dragon's Dogma Thread
Goat
>>333704463
Which ending?
>>333704463
You realize that even God is powerless to the Brine so you opt to kill yourself instead.
basically you are a ragon and your father was a dragon an ichitan-san was your sister the whole time which is why you inherited the Flame Breath
>>333704463
Basically the guy at the gas pump station in the beginning is behind everything, the god of death and final boss. Also if you pay attention adachi is the killer
Post yfw youABANDON ALL DELUSIONS OF CONTROL
>>333709747
All that shit happen because god search for a worthy successor. Then you become the new seneschal until you get bored and also search for a new successor.
What's a good vocation when switching out from a fighter? I don't like going two-hander, too fucking slow.
>>333710418
Warrior.
>>333710418
Ranger is insanely fun to play, and Assassin is pretty cool too. I'm currently working towards a Mystic Knight, doing NG+ and about to do BBI for the first time.
I liked the main story, but the sideplots were fucking abysmal, I didn't care about a single side character.Waifus looked good tho, and mercedes' accent made me hnnng
I hope there's a sequel and it focuses more on giant monsters, instead of 3 variations of wolves, harpies and undead. Goblins and badits are cool tho.
>>333710562
There is no better class.
How is a new dragon created when you beat the seneschal?
>>333710878
>Clout
>Proficiency
>Ferocity
>second best attack strength grow
>best HP grow
I don't see no reason to not put some levels into this vocation if you play any physical vocation.
>>333711157
You become god and when you get tired you make another dragon to fetch an Arisen from you.
If the dragon wreck you, you become a drake/wyrm/wyvern
If the seneschal slap your shit you become the dragon
NOW HE SEES THE DRAGON'S DOGMA
UNBOUND BY TIME, ALL-BINDING, GRAND DESIGN
>>333711312
So what happens when our arisen an Godsbane?
>>333712137
pretty much attempts to off himself but really cant. He only released his mortal body to which the pawn took over. There was a reason the Seneschal pulled it from his chest to give it to you. only the next seneschal can release him.
So is the cycle a time loop and the starting point in the timeline is way back to even before the duke's reign and the dragonforged time?
Best dragon or bestest dragon?
THEY'RE MASTERWORKS ALL

this game is shit desu

>>333704463
There is and infinte cycle of choose ones who get trained through the coming of a dragon and then become god. You are this choosen one, now you can
-> just leave, wich will give you a normal life but will eventually break the world apart like the main city
-> become god and continue the cycle
-> kill yourself with godsbane and end the cycle, wich will leave the world without god and the pawns free. Here your pawn gets into your body and lifes a peacefull life instead of you.
>>333713227
Really the best dragon to come out from vidya which is great cause its the classic dragon done simply and naturally as possible.
>>333713227
Shame that his bossfight was like 75% scripted events and QTE
>>333710418
If its just your first playthrough try out the classes you want to play, it really doesn't matter. The only class I felt had a horrible deficit was MA and its DEF, class changing for a while fixes it right up, as does good equipment
Min-maxing is only worthwhile for Ur Dragon. If you want to build a character, just look at what growths each class has and aim for the stats you want
Will we ever go to the moon?
I want to start over from level 1.
Is there a way to start without have to delete my save data?
>>333714825
Move your data to a USB stick
>>333714782
I hope in the sequel, maybe they will do it in DD online tho
>>333715171
Sweet thanks
>>333713227
I wish the Souls game could take some cues from DD and make better dragon fights. They make them super strong (as they should be) but then you always end up cheesing them instead of having an epic battle.
I remember spending 10 minutes losing arrows to the dragon in 1-2 in DeS, and then again in 1-4. Same shit in DaS. DaS2 was slighly better but the ancient dragon is a bit shit, it can't even fly properly.
>>333714782
Moon?
>>333715915
>you always end up cheesing them instead of having an epic battle.
Then don't cheese them?
>>333715915
Have you tried not cheesing them?
I remember beating Kalameet fair and square, and it felt absolutely glorious
>>333716201
Ah yeah, kalameet was good, I forgot about it.
>>333716106
Most of the fights are very unfair if you don't cheese them. Have you managed to beat the dragons in DeS without cheesing them at all? Maybe I should give it a try in my next playthrough.
>>333715915
DD has more thought put into improving action RPG mechanics, Dark Shit is just edginess and trying to force deaths on the player.
Absolute garbage series
>>333716403
I'll admit that you can only beat the dragons in DeS by firing arrow for 10 minutes at them but you're far from obligated to do it. It will only award you with souls and their fire are easy to avoid.
>>333716106
>>333716201
The blue and red dragons from DeS as well as the Dragon God, and the bridge dragon and those undead dragon halves don't feel like real fights, more like obstacles. From got better, but nowhere near DDs dragons.
>>333716563
Yeah but it's wasted potential. I play an RPG, I see a dragon I want to defeat it!
>>333716606
Yeah pretty much. Dragon God was cool in its own kind of way but not really the epic battle I've been expecting.
>>333716058
moon
That wyvern behind the waterfall is a pretty cool encounter. It happens in post-game.
>>333704463
I'm still pissed that I fell for the dragon's dogma meme and it's too late to get a refund
>>333716796
Fuck that's a great concept. Such a shame it never saw the light of day. I love Dragon's Dogma, but that would have been amazing.
>>333717307
And then there's this cunt.
